Software summary

This compressed, self-extracting file contains software version 2.1.2 for the HP ProCurve Wireless Access Point 520wl. The compressed file contains the software itself (hp520wl_212.bin), the 520wl help files (hp520wl_help.zip), and the release notes file describing bug fixes (relnotes212.txt).

1. Download new software to your Access Point 520wl using TFTP from a locally attached PC, not from a TFTP server on your network. Use a cross-over cable to connect the PC and the 520wl.
   1. Confirm that the IP address and subnet mask on the PC and the 520wl are in the same subnet by successfully pinging the 520wl from the PC.
   2. Confirm that the TFTP address and file name are configured correctly on the 520wl.
   3. Reboot the 520wl before performing the TFTP download.
2. After the download completes, allow a minimum of five (5) minutes for the 520wl to reboot.
